Christian Smith

Christian Smith is a Swedish DJ, producer, remixer, and label founder widely recognized as one of the most influential figures in modern techno. 
Born in Stockholm and raised between Sweden, Germany, and the United States, Smith developed a broad musical perspective that helped shape his signature sound — a powerful fusion of groove-driven techno, house influences, and forward-thinking production. 
Since emerging in the 1990s, he has built an international reputation for energetic DJ sets, innovative productions, and a relentless commitment to pushing underground electronic music forward.

In 1994, Smith founded Tronic, one of the world’s longest-running and most respected techno labels, which has released music from artists including ANNA, Wehbba, Victor Ruiz, Paco Osuna, and Enrico Sangiuliano. 
Throughout his career, he has released acclaimed productions and remixes on influential labels such as Drumcode, Cocoon, Plus 8, Bedrock, and his own Tronic imprint, earning support from leading artists including Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin, and John Digweed. 
Renowned for his distinctive blend of driving rhythms, musical depth, and dancefloor energy, Christian Smith remains a defining force within global techno culture through his productions, worldwide touring schedule, Tronic Radio broadcasts, and continued dedication to innovation in electronic music.
