Ian Pooley

Ian Pooley is a German DJ, producer, and remixer widely respected for his influential contributions to house music since the early 1990s.
Based in Berlin, he became known for blending classic Chicago and New York house influences with European deep and jazzy house aesthetics.

Pooley first gained international attention in the mid-1990s with releases on labels such as Force Inc. Music Works and V2 Records.
His debut album Meridian (1996) established his reputation for sophisticated, groove-driven production.
He followed it with a series of acclaimed releases including Since Then (2000), which featured the widely played track 900 Degrees.

Throughout his career, Pooley has remixed artists across electronic and pop music, including Daft Punk, The Cardigans, and Bob Sinclar.
His productions are known for warm analog textures, crisp percussion, and funk-influenced basslines that helped shape late-1990s and early-2000s house music.

In addition to releasing music under his own name, Pooley founded the label Pooledmusic in 2005, which serves as a platform for his productions and for emerging house artists.
Decades into his career, he remains an active DJ and producer, continuing to release music and perform internationally.
