Jim Shaft Ryan

Jim “Shaft” Ryan is a veteran British DJ, producer, remixer, and radio presenter with a career stretching back to the late 1980s. He is best known for founding the iconic club brands Miss Moneypenny’s and Chuff Chuff, which helped define the UK house music scene.

He held a long‑running Ibiza residency from 1995 to 2010 at clubs like Pacha and El Divino, and has released over 20 major compilation albums.

Using aliases such as Zoned Out, Groove Allegiance, and JSR, Jim has remixed high‑profile artists including Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Solange Knowles, Micky Bubbles , and Yoko Ono.

He also hosts a global radio show (UK, Ibiza, Spain, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Bulgaria), leading his own labels, and is regarded as a pioneer and influential ambassador for house music.
