Jody Wisternoff

Jody Wisternoff is a British DJ, producer, and electronic music pioneer best known as one half of the legendary progressive house duo Way Out West alongside Nick Warren, as well as a leading figure within the globally influential Anjunadeep label. 
Hailing from Bristol, England, Wisternoff began his career at just 13 years old as a finalist in the DMC World DJ Championship before becoming deeply involved in the UK’s early rave and underground club culture. 
Over more than three decades, he has developed a reputation for blending progressive house, deep house, breakbeat, and melodic electronic music into emotionally rich and timeless productions.

As both a solo artist and curator, Wisternoff has played a major role in shaping the modern Anjunadeep sound through acclaimed albums including Trails We Blaze, Nightwhisper, and Welcome To My World, as well as the label’s celebrated annual compilation series alongside James Grant. 
His productions, remixes, and DJ sets have earned worldwide recognition for their melodic depth, musical storytelling, and dancefloor connection. 
With releases on labels including Anjunadeep, Ministry of Sound, and Distinct’ive, plus support from artists across the electronic spectrum, Jody Wisternoff remains one of the most respected and influential names in contemporary underground electronic music.
